Swedish Massage (Intensified Pressure) + Knot Release + Deep Stretching
There are some people out there who enjoy the experience and benefits of massage but require more pressure to get the results they desire. While many massage techniques focus on relaxing the body on a physical and mental level, Deep Tissue Massage focuses primarily on the physical aspect. As your therapeutic session progresses, each stroke sinks deeper into your body, ultimately leaving you with the satisfaction of a more forceful massage experience. The Deep Tissue Massage is similar to the Relaxation massage, only with significantly more force.
Firm to Hard pressure of your preference is applied to your neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet to work your stiff muscles into a relaxed state. We start with some Myofascial Release techniques, which are useful for increasing flexibility and blood circulation in skin. A majority of this massage session employes Swedish Massage techniques such as long, therapeutic strokes with elements of knuckle and elbow pressure for deeper penetration - thus classifying the massage as Deep Tissue Massage. Physically active clients may prefer a Deep Tissue Massage to sooth their over-worked muscles; runners and bikers may want deeper pressure in their lower back, glutes and thighs for Sciatica relief. Some Moderate Stretching during your session can help bring about increased range of motion for your arms, legs and neck as well as provide release for stiff muscles and joints. This massage could work well for individuals with higher pain thresholds or for those who enjoy the "good hurt" that Deep Tissue Massage can provide.
